Although summer is coming to an end and the evenings are getting cooler, Lauhansarvi is not slowing down — we are preparing for a new season! As autumn approaches, we will update our opening hours, but the summer season and its opening hours will continue until the end of August.
On the last Friday of August, 29.8., we will celebrate the end of summer just as we welcomed it — with Lauhansarvi’s smoker fired up from 5 PM to 7:30 PM (or as long as the food lasts!). Check the menu in our event calendar!
Autumn brings a new rhythm, and our opening hours will change accordingly. Week 36 will be a transition week, but on 11 September we will launch the dinner season. From then on, in addition to weekend lunch services, our restaurant will be open from Thursday to Saturday 4:30 PM–9 PM (kitchen until 8:30 PM).
Weekend lunches will continue uninterrupted, and on Saturdays and Sundays we will serve a buffet lunch from 12 PM to 3 PM (you can check the menu in advance from our event calendar).
Octoberfest theme at the turn of September–October
One of the highlights of autumn will be our Oktoberfest celebration over two weekends at the turn of September and October, featuring German-inspired delicacies such as slow-roasted pork belly with beer and caraway sauce, sauerkraut, and pretzels. With advance booking, you can also take part in a beer tasting event organized with our partner on 27 September! We will share more details separately, so stay tuned on our social media channels!
At the beginning of November, we will celebrate Father’s Day throughout the weekend, with a festive Father’s Day lunch served on both Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday, there will also be a Father’s Day eve dinner, with the detailed menu published closer to the event in our event calendar. If you want to secure your spot for the lunch or dinner, we recommend booking early!
