Change of entrepreneur at Lauhansarvi Nature Tourism Centre and Kangasjärvi Camping Area
The two tourism hubs in Isojoki will change entrepreneurs at the beginning of April. Lauhatuotanto Oy / Teppo Toivanen has sold the business operations of Lauhansarvi and Kangasjärvi camping area to Fabig Oy / Andre Fabig through a business transaction, which includes equipment as well as existing internal cooperation agreements.
Andre Fabig is a German-born chef who has lived in Noormarkku, Pori, for 25 years. His family includes a wife working as a school principal and three adult children. Andre has worked, among other places, as head chef at Ahlström’s Club in Noormarkku and most recently at Restaurant Mekani in Pori.
The Municipality of Isojoki, as the owner of the sites, has signed lease and operating agreements for the locations. The lease agreement and business transaction were signed on 4 March 2025 at Lauhansarvi. The change of entrepreneur will take place on 1 April 2025, and although it is April Fool’s Day, that has no relevance in this transaction.
Operations at Lauhansarvi will continue without interruption, and opening hours and services can be followed on the www.lauha.fi website. The summer season at Kangasjärvi camping area will begin as usual towards the end of May. The new company will include former seasonal workers as well as new employees to continue and develop operations.
Lauhatuotanto Oy will continue its business operations normally at Hotel-Restaurant Honkahovi in Honkajoki, Kankaanpää. As part of the business transaction, one employee will remain at Lauhansarvi as a so-called long-term employee, while others will continue at Honkahovi. The company’s holiday villas are excluded from the transaction, and the new entrepreneur will lease them, as well as other investment villas at Lauhansarvi. Approximately 40% of Lauhansarvi’s total accommodation capacity is owned by Lauhatuotanto Oy.
Many bookings for spring and summer are already in place at Lauhansarvi, Honkahovi, and catering services. The business transaction will not affect these in any way. Events, their contents, and prices will remain as stated in existing offers and booking confirmations. Teppo and Andre will personally contact all event organizers. There will also be no changes to accommodation reservations.
