The snow has already largely melted from the slopes of Lauha, and as the weather warms up, it’s time to turn our attention to spring events. At this time of year, the forest offers something new every day, but there is also plenty happening at the restaurant! It’s easy to spend a whole day in Lauha – the trails invite you to enjoy nature awakening in spring, and hunger is satisfied with the delicious offerings at Lauhansarvi.
EASTER FESTIVE BUFFET
On Easter Saturday and Sunday, Lauhansarvi will serve a true festive buffet. The table will feature a generous selection of seasonal salads, buffet classics, traditional Easter dishes, and a delicious dessert table. For chocolate lovers, the dessert selection includes chocolate cake, while a fresh lemon pudding offers a lighter option for those who prefer something less sweet.
MAY DAY BRUNCH
On May Day, a brunch will be served at Lauhansarvi. In addition to traditional May Day favourites such as herring, doughnuts, and “sima”, the table will feature a delicious selection of cold dishes and warm bites to suit many tastes. The May Day brunch is served from 11 AM onwards – gather your friends and come enjoy!
MOTHER’S DAY
In May, when the flags are flying for mothers, the festive table will of course be crowned with layer cake. The Mother’s Day buffet is full of flavours, with both starters and main courses offering options for lovers of meat and fish alike. The rich salad selection includes familiar classics such as Waldorf salad, as well as newer favourites like a clear potato salad with asparagus.
