The time has come. The phones at Lauhansarvi and Kangasjärvi camping area are now answered by the new entrepreneur.
I find it difficult to express in words my gratitude to all the thousands and thousands of people I have had the privilege to meet during my quarter-century journey as an entrepreneur in tourism in Lauha. Now it is time for the car to head in the mornings towards Honkajoki and Honkahovi – although I am not yet fully retiring. We will also meet in Isojoki through work at various events and catering assignments.
My sincere thanks to the Municipality of Isojoki for the opportunity to serve the municipality, its residents, and visitors in these magnificent natural destinations and unique tourism centres as an entrepreneur.
Lauhansarvi Nature Tourism Centre will continue its operations under new entrepreneurship and new expertise, developing further as a flagship of the Lauhanvuori–Hämeenkangas UNESCO Global Geopark area, driven by food, surroundings, and nature.
It has been a pleasure to be involved in the development work of Kangasjärvi camping area. The plans made last year will likely be implemented during the coming year, allowing us all to contribute to the development of tourism in Isojoki.
On Friday 4 April 2025, from 3 PM to 6 PM, Andre and I will still be grilling sausages together in the yard of Lauhansarvi. You are warmly welcome to meet the new entrepreneur and at the same time “give the old one a push out of the way.” In summary: THANK YOU FOR THE JOURNEY WE SHARED.
